| It's a great time to be in this business and nothing is more exciting than the culmination of a growing relationship we've cultivated together. I've owned homes and I've owned vacation homes. I've owned a business. Any meaningful work I've done as an adult whether it was paid or not, had to do with helping other people meet their goals, making their dreams come true or maybe just making their day. I'm not here to sell, I'm here to serve. I want to learn about you and what your dreams are, then I can tell you what I know. |
| My dad, a simple steelworker, always told me "People want to know how much you care before they care how much you know." He's right and I know he's not the first to say it. You can teach people facts and laws, but you can't always teach them to care. You may never meet a real estate agent who understands you better than I do. I like to think like a consumer instead of a realtor. I still like asking some of the questions you will ask. But I know the business side of life but I also know that what's important to you is how much I care about you and your needs. I still "see through your eyes" and I hope I never lose that quality. I'm going to keep a pair of "customer glasses" on my desk, in my briefcase and in my car. If I ever forget to look at my work through your eyes, then it's time for me to go to the mountains or the ocean and write that book that's in me. |
